We leave for Colorado today, and you better believe I made my packing list for my keep it up beforehand so I could write this post! I’ll be using my diaper bag backpack because it’s such a lot easier employing a kids' backpack when carrying a baby! Luckily all I want for myself is my wallet and my telephone. Dylan will have my laptop in his keep it up, and everything else I’ll need for myself and therefore the kids is going to be in our check on bags.
My best rolling backpack is going to be dedicated to everything needed for Emma and Noah on the plane. I attempt to keep my bag as lightweight as possible, but it is often hard with kids. It can get uncomfortable having weight on my back, also as my front (Emma) while walking through the airport.
Here’s What I’m Packing:
WIPES– Aka the grail. I can’t go anywhere without me. we’ve been hooked into Water Wipes ever since we started using them. Not only can we need wipes for diaper changes, but we also need them for sticky toddler faces & hands. Plus, I’ve totally used them to wipe off makeup smudges before.
EXTRA CLOTHES- I always bring an additional outfit for Emma and Noah. There’s always a high probability of a diaper blowout for Emma, and Noah usually spills some kind of food on himself. just one occasion we had to hold Noah off of the plane in only a little blanket because he peed everywhere his outfit, and even on me. it had been rough. Ever since then I’ve packed extra clothes.
SNACKS– Aka the grail of traveling. Airport food isn’t the healthiest, and therefore the snacks on the plane are always too expensive. Snacks keep Noah busy on the plane which is great, and that they help with the pressure in his ears on the high and down. We wish to keep him chewing and swallowing rising and down. the sole snack Emma takes at the instant is breastmilk so I’ll be nursing her on the high and down also. We always bring blueberries (we wash & dry them before & put them during a plastic container). We are also bringing these super tasty beef sticks that we’ve been hooked into that we found on Amazon (they are Grass Fed, haven’t any nitrates, etc… so good!), organic pouches (because Noah is hooked into those things), and type Bars because those are always easy to eat the plane.
DIAPERS/PULL-UPS- This is often a no brainer, but it’s reminding me to not forget them, lol. Noah is so good about getting into the potty, but he’s not completely into big boy underwear yet.
ZIPLOCK BAGS — We usually bring an enormous ziplock bag that we will use to place dirty diapers or soiled clothes in (in case of a blow out situation).
PAPER TOWELS-These always works far better to wash things with than the small napkins you get on the plane. Noah has dropped his entire water on my lap on the plane before, so this is often always helpful.
PHONE/TABLET FOR NOAH– Noah goes to be so excited to fly this point because he’s hooked into airplanes, but we’ll definitely be bringing a phone or tablet for him to play with. We usually download a couple of episodes of his favorite show before we get on the plane.
NOAH’S WATER BOTTLE– We always bring Noah’s bottle along, and swallowing often also helps with the pressure on the high and down.
You can shop for my diaper bag backpack above. It’s my favorite diaper bag, honestly. I’ve tried out plenty, and this one is that the best. I really like having a backpack rather than a bag, because with kids it’s with great care much easier. you would like all the free hands you’ll get.
